“Sean’s presentation was informative, inspiring and powerful. The way he delivers the information on Dismantling Racial Bias is educational and yet also deeply personal. “Sean is such a warm and engaging speaker. He handles the topic of anti-racism with a remarkable balance of honesty and sensitivity. His talk was very well received and highly appreciated by our school community. Bringing him in gave us a 10x lift in attendance and we were asked to bring him back! The students enjoyed his incredible musical talent as well. If you are able to book him, definitely do so. His message will stay with your audience long after the event is over.” Joyanne Howell, School Council Secretary, Peel District School Board

How To Handle Microaggressions In The Workplace

The micro in microaggressions is a bit of a misnomer. Because when you experience one, it doesn’t feel very micro. In fact, it can feel like death by a thousand cuts. It might be one of the reasons an astonishingly low number of Black employees (3%) say they would want to return to the office full time. Any marginalized group can experience microaggressions, in this webinar, racial equity educators Camille Dundas and Sean Mauricette will help us understand:

  • Where microaggressions come from

  • How to recognize a microaggression

  • How to speak up when you observe one

  • How to cope when you experience one

  • How to respond when you’ve committed one
